Enviro-USA – Heavy Duty Seaweed Barrier

Enviro-USA’s Seaweed Barriers are 100% manufactured in Florida, USA. Our barriers were designed to help the sargassum continue to drift, while being redirected back out to sea, without causing it any harm. The idea was never to trap it, but to help it move along and our barriers do that. Designed for beachfront resorts and hotels to keep their beaches clean and free of seaweed.

These barriers can reduce the amount of sargassum that arrives to beaches and coastlines by 85%. In a recent study our barriers decreased the amount of dump trucks used to remove the seaweed (sargassum) from beaches and shores, from 20 to 3 truckloads.

Oil Containment Boom, spill response, for responders, from Enviro-USA, Florida, USA

Enviro-USA’s Permanent Containment Boom (also known as Hard boom or Permanent Boom) was designed for permanent installations or frequent deployments. In permanent installations it’s put in place to protect sensitive areas that could be extremely difficult or costly to clean up. In frequent deployments it’s normally used in ports to surround vessels that are loading or offloading any kind of hydrocarbon or fuel numerous times per week. It can be left in the water and deployed around vessels daily without affecting the product.

Our Permanent Boom is tough in that it has high impact and tear resistance, great tensile strength, is durable and has UV & marine growth resistance. It requires very little or no maintenance at all even when left in the water for months and it will provide many years of usage.
