Overview

Oil absorbent booms provide both containment and absorption of hydrocarbons while repelling water and can be connected into longer sections for spill response, industrial cleanup, stormwater applications, water pollution control, and environmental remediation.

Absorbent socks are flexible spill-control products placed around leaks and spills to prevent liquids from spreading, while oil-only, universal, and HazMat absorbent options allow the product to be matched to the type of liquid being managed.

An absorbent boom is a floating or surface-deployed spill-control product designed to contain and absorb oil, hydrocarbons, chemicals, or other liquids. Oil-only absorbent booms are especially useful on water because they absorb petroleum-based liquids while repelling water, helping concentrate and remove spilled oil during cleanup operations.
